Watch Alarm System

The purpose of Bridge Navigational Watch Alarm System (BNWAS) A006 is to monitor bridge activity and detect operator disability, which could without BNWAS lead to a marine accident.

BNWAS monitors the watch officer’s presence through watch safety system functions.

A watch officer is required to press the button on a Timer Reset Panel or to operate navigation equipment (e.g. ECDIS, Radar, etc.) at certain intervals. When the officer fails to press the button within pre-set intervals, visual and audible alarms will be generated in the wheelhouse.

If the officer doesn’t respond to the alarm, the system transfers the alarm to the Cabin Panels installed in other sections of the vessel in order to inform backup officers of the watch officer’s incapacity.

Important note:
Repair and spare parts service only (no new build and retrofit projects).

Bridge Alarm System

The Bridge Alarm System A040 is a device with 8 binary inputs for alarm and status messages and is applicable as alarm or safety system for ships and yachts.

General Alarm System

The General Alarm System A004 is designed for the control of acoustic and optical signals in emergency situations. In addition to the “MANUAL“ activation of the horn, common mandatory signals such as “General Alarm“ and “ORDER FOR LEAVING THE SHIP“ are already hard-coded and can be activated in selectable intervals.
