Scrubber and BWTS integration in your Stein Sohn automation system

Since the ratification of the IMO Ballast Water Management (BWM) Convention, new-builds need treatment systems installed at delivery. Since September 2019, existing vessels will have to retrofit.

Also sulphur dioxide emissions have to be cut down, which leads to the installation of Scrubbers or the use of low sulphur fuels.

Integration of the Ballast Water Treatment System (BWTS) and Scrubber control into the Alarm and Monitoring System allows seamless operation and monitoring of the ballast system as a whole.

We offer the full integration or only alarm indication as well as the necessary modification of the existing process picture of Ballast Water Treatment System and Scrubber into your Stein Sohn vista® automation system. The integration can either be realized as hardwired signals and/or as communication interfaces.
